Early life & career

Stegner attended University of Idaho and received his Bachelor’s degree. He was previously owner of Stegner Grain and Seed Company from 1972 to 1995. He is presently a property manager. Stegner has been in the Idaho State Senate since 1998 and is presently Assistant Majority Leader. ^[3]
